A Mickey Mouse Christmas with Bakell!

Christmas is around the corner and we can’t wait to share several new holiday recipes, including this amazing sugar cookie recipe! We used our Metal Mouse Cookie Cutter and a few of our favorite shades of Tinker Dust to create these Christmas themed Mickey Mouse cookies. We have so many fun shapes to work with this Holiday season, some of our favorites are our Christmas Tree Cookie Cutters and our Snowman Cookie Cutters.
This sugar cookie recipe is fool proof! There’s no chilling before rolling and it doesn’t stick easily to the counter or rolling pin. A bit of cornstarch in the dough helps keep those nice, crisp edges in the oven.

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups Sweet Cream Salted Butter (softened)
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp. Vanilla
- 4 tsp. Baking Powder
- 6 cups Flour

- Add vanilla and eggs and mix until completely incorporated.
- Add Baking Powder, a pinch of cornstarch, and mix.
- Mix in the flour two cups at a time.

- Roll a handful of the dough out on a prepared surface until it's about 3/8" thick and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter
- Bake at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes depending on the size of the cookie. Do not over-bake.

- Garnish with any color of Tinker Dust for the perfect finishing touches
