When Choosing "FREE SHIPPING" As Your Shipping Method
For FREE shipping methods offered on our website, there is no guarantee of exact shipping delivery day/ time. Additionally, regardless of what the shipping "estimated delivery date/ time" indicates USPS has asked their partners to let the customer know this is just an estimate and to please add 1-3 extra days for delivery. As a result, no refunds will be issued to customers who use the FREE shipping option if the reason for their refund request is because the date of their event or when the product is needed is missed as we cannot control the USPS delays due to COVID-19. Free shipping is a great option to choose for NON-TIME/ DELIVERY BASED needed order times. But if you need your order fast or by a certain date/ time, do not use this method or count on the "expected shipping delivery time" as USPS has indicated it is not accurate in light of COVID-19 impacts to USPS.
When Choosing "USPS PRIORITY (2-3) " As Your Shipping Method
Priority Mail's two-day and three-day service commitments will be extended to three days and four days, respectively. No refunds will be issued to customers who use this option if the reason for their refund request is because the date of their event or when the product is needed is missed as we cannot control the USPS delays due to COVID-19.
Why Is My Order Stuck In "PRE-SHIPMENT" On The USPS Tracker?
When an order is stuck in "Pre-Shipment" status, that is USPS code for "..we scanned your package but don't know where it is and/ or we missed it's initial scan at the original distribution center, but it will be scanned at another delivery point along the way." USPS is having challenges over the last 60-90 days because of the COVID-19 impact thus resulting in a lack of staff/ resources as stated on the there website (click here) which is causing delays to customer packages across the USA & Internationally. What's happening is the USPS tracker indicates that the order/ package is in a status of "Pre-Shipment" and then suddenly the status changes to "your package will be delivered tomorrow before 10am" OR it will say "your order is currently out for delivery." In most cases, the Pre Shipment status will change to "your order is out for delivery" as that is happening 9 times out of 10 at the moment.
I understand some of my mail delivery may be delayed? Why?
Postal Service Priority Mail® products and First-Class® packages may temporarily require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
When will this happen?
This change is effective April 17, 2020.
How will this affect delivery of Priority Mail?
Priority Mail's two-day and three-day service commitments will be extended to three days and four days, respectively. Customers will continue to receive improved product tracking and as much as $50 in free insurance through USPS. Contact USPS for more information, click here.
Will this affect delivery of Priority Mail Express®?
Priority Mail Express service, which guarantees overnight service, and one-day service commitments for Priority Mail will not change.
Will First-Class Mail be delayed too?
There is no impact to First-Class letters and flats. However, First-Class Package Service® two and three day service commitments will be extended to three and four days respectively.
Is mail still being sent to other countries?
Global Express Guaranteed® Services also have been altered. For a full list of international and domestic updates, refer to usps.com.
Does free shipping apply to international orders as well?
No, free shipping only applies to the USA 48 lower states. International shipping rates will be calculated during the checkout process.
