Celebrate Dessert Day with Tinker Cookies

Need a new way to dress up your chocolate chip cookies? Take the traditional recipe to the next level with a little fondant, tinker dust and joy.

100% edible glitter, dessert day, edible gold glitter, turquoise tinker dust, edible tinker dust, edible glitter, fondant tools, silicon molds, flower fondant cutter

Take your chocolate chip cookies, once they've cooled, and start by applying the cookie decorating icing of your choice. Cover half the cookie, the whole cookie, or use a drop- it's all your choice.

Once you've covered the cookie, take the Tinker Dust of choice and cover the icing. We used Lilac Purple, White Pearl and Turquoise Tinker Dust. Remember- the color icing you choose will change the color of Tinker Dust. For example- if you pick Blue icing and use the White Pearl Tinker Dust, it will have a blue tint to it.

Before the icing hardens, you'll want to place the fondant flowers into the icing. With our Fondant Cutting Kit, it makes creating the flowers easy.

Take some flour and sprinkle it on the surface before laying the fondant down. Roll it out into a semi-thick sheet and pick a cutter. Press the flower into the fondant and press down to leave the imprint. Then, once it's cut through the fondant, press the flower out. Then color it with your choice of Luster Dust- we went with Purple Purple and Pink Iridescent Luster Dust.

Place the flower on to the cookie and use one more dot of icing to secure the golden pearl bead into place.
