My name is Elizabeth, and I am a former chemist and current stay-at-home mom. Baking has always been one of my favorite hobbies, but I have only recently discovered my love for cookie art. Decorating with royal icing had always seemed too intimidating to try, but shortly after my second child was born, I took a cookie decorating class, and my passion was ignited.

Royal icing was suddenly approachable, and I couldn’t get enough. Cookie decorating became my creative outlet, and I spent many sleepless newborn nights looking through cookie blogs and watching instructional videos

What do you love about cookie decorating & cookie art?

I love using royal icing because it is such a fun, versatile medium, with endless possibilities for designs. I love trying new ideas that you would never expect to see turned into a cookie. I love that I can make one cookie, or a dozen, depending on the time that I have. And I love that cookies can be used to celebrate events, personalize a gift, or share an experience."
