Product Discovery - R&D Review Fee

Product Discovery Process

• Once "discovery fee" is paid, our company would start/ engage in the R&D and discovery process with the customer to determine what it would take to create/ re-create the product. R&D process takes 2-4 weeks. Please note the R&D process lead time provided here is just an estimated lead time, some R&D projects take longer than others.
• Customer to ship "samples" of all products they would like us to re-create". In your case, you would send us samples of all samples you are looking for us to create/ re-create
• R&D process includes determining "if" we can re-create the products, creating 2x rounds of live product samples to be sure the product flavor/ taste meets the customer expectations.
• Ideally, between 2x live samples created and samples by our team and the customer, a final "selected" SKU is approved by the customer
• If the customer needs us to "re-create" more samples to further test/ create samples, there is an additional $295 per sku, per test sample
• After final selected SKU(s) are approved, the customer would then purchase each SKU at the MOQ / pricing requirements for said custom SKU product - see below.

** Please Note: The payment of the "discovery/ R&D fee" for each SKU does not guarantee that we can take on the project, the fee is payment for the time/ materials involved in the discovery process so our department(s) can spend time reviewing, testing, and understanding the project scope and determine ultimately if we can, 1) take on the project, 2) develop pricing for the project and 3) determine lead times for the project assuming we can take on the scope of the project. **
