4th of July Shimmering Sweet Martini
The iconic martini has endless variations as it is one of the most popular cocktails around. Since we are adding our sweet Sugar Sand to the rim of the glass it makes sense to make this a "sweet" martini. To do so simply use sweet vermouth instead of a dry vermouth. The shine and glittery shimmer of the Brew Glitter is definitely a showstopper. A frequently asked question is if the Brew Glitter changes the taste of the drink. It is tasteless so rest assured any cocktail you carefully design for taste will not be affected by adding the eye-catching shimmer of Brew Glitter.
You will need:
-Gin or Vodka
-Sweet vermouth
-Edible adhesive
-4th of July themed stirring straws
-Red Brew Glitter
-Blue Brew Glitter
-Clear Shimmer Brew Glitter
-Krazy Sprinkles Light Blue Sugar Sand
-Krazy Sprinkles Red Pearl Sugar Sand
-Krazy Sprinkles White Pearl Sugar Sand
Instructions:
1. Use an edible adhesive to rim the glass. An easy way to achieve the thick sugar rim you see here is to hold your glass sideways and pour the Sugar Sand.
2. Place the glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes.
3. Take your mixing glass and pour 2 1/2 ounces of gin or vodka and 1/2 ounce of sweet vermouth. Add ice and stir for 20 seconds.
4. Time to add in the Brew Glitter to your chilled glass. To make a saturated red and blue consistency use 1/8 tsp or 2 shakes of our 45g shaker or 4 pumps of our 25g pump.
5. Strain the drink into the cocktail glass and stir till the Brew Glitter is evenly mixed in.
6. Pair a lemon peel and twist for a garnish. To complete the 4th of July theme add in any of our red, white, and blue stirring straws.
A sweet martini will pair nicely with any sweet foods and desserts. Have a happy 4th of July!
