What Halloween Treats Do Kids Like Best?

Another incredibly easy treat to make with your kids are dipped apples or suckers!

A classic Caramel Apple sucker, dipped in Green apple Flavored Tinker Dust is sour and sweet and makes my mouth water just thinking about it! They are a great party favor or treat for your kids during the Halloween season.

Pour some of the flavored tinker dust into a shallow bowl, unwrap your suckers, gently dip the side (or full) sucker in the glittery edible flavor powder and then set aside.

If using them as a party favor, wrap them in cellophane treat bags and tie them under the sucker with a fun Halloween theme ribbon or something festive.

For a healthier treat that you can keep on hand for snack time, slice up some apples that your kids like and dip them in our sour apple flavored tinker dust, then drizzle some caramel on top.

Slice apples of your choice, dip in edible glitter dust (Tinker Dust), and drizzle with caramel. Its super easy and tastes delicious!

Serve with the oranges, pretzels, crackers, chips etc. to make a fun kid size charcuterie board!

In addition to dipped fruit, making dipped pretzels is an easy, fun, and quick treat to make with your kiddos! Here is everything you'll need to make this cute Halloween snack.

Chocolate Covered Halloween Pretzels

Ingredients

  1. ½ cup (about 4 ounces) Monster Mash Halloween Sprinkles Mix
  2. 1 (10 ounce) package chocolate melting chocolate
  3. 1 (12 ounce) package pretzel rods

Instructions:

Clear off a fairly large workspace, you want to have room for your pretzels to "dry" and not stick together. Pour your Monster Mash sprinkles mixture into a bowl and set aside. Melt the chocolate according to package instructions, being sure not to overheat it or it will seize up, and transfer to a tall glass or cup that is at least half the length of the pretzels.

Dip each pretzel in the chocolate about 1/2 way, gently shaking off as much extra chocolate as possible. You can also tap the bottom of the un-dipped side of the pretzel rod and gently tap on the side of the cup, allowing the chocolate to drip down the sides of the pretzel to coat it evenly. Set on a lined baking sheet or lined countertop.

Sprinkle the chocolate dipped pretzel with your sprinkle mixture and keep on the wax paper to "dry". Allow then to rest for about 1 hour. Once the chocolate is firm to the touch, you can gently peel them off of the lined baking sheet or counter and serve immediately!
