Red, White, and Blue Oreo Cookie Pops!

These elaborately decorated 4th of July themed dessert cake pops will look amazing on your snack table and you will definitely be asked what you used to create the extra gold and silver highlights and where you found the stars and stripes sprinkles.

Start by putting your chocolate melts in 3 separate bowls and microwave them each for 1 minute. When done microwaving stir the melts so the chocolate is even. Add the All Natural Red Petal Dust to one bowl and All Natural Blue Petal Dust to another bowl and mix. These will take the place of standard food coloring. You will now have three bowls of chocolate.

Take your cookies and twist them apart. We cut the cake pop straws in half but cut them to whatever length you prefer. Flatten out the end of the straw and place it on the icing side of the cookie. With a spoon pour a small amount of white chocolate on the cookie and grab the other half and press the cookies back together. The chocolate will hold the straw and cookie halves in place. Place the cookies in the freezer for 15 minutes.

Take your chilled cookies and dip them in the chocolate until they are completely covered. You might have to shake them a bit to get off the excess chocolate. Pour sprinkles on the cookies you wish to have sprinkles on. Place them on parchment paper or pan sprayed with a non-stick spray. Place them in the freezer for 15 minutes.

Now comes the decorating! Place the remaining red, white, and blue chocolate into 3 piping bags. Cut the tips and you can drizzle on the chocolate in whatever shape you want. To apply the Tinker Dust you can take a make up brush, dip it in the container, and then flick the Tinker Dust off the brush. To paint on the Luster Dust you can do so dry or wet. We chose to paint it wet for these cake pops. Simply add a small amount of Luster Dust to a bowl and add a few drops of liquid extract or a drinking alcohol such as vodka. Mix and then paint on.

Frequently Asked Questions

WHOLESALE - The difference between buying wholesale vs becoming a Bakell® Distribution partner is that when you buy products wholesale from Bakell.com, although you can purchase as little or as much as you need with no obligation while still getting the lowest wholesale prices, however you cannot lock down the region or territory you plan on selling in. For some, this is absolutely fine and is not needed. So if you plan on re-selling our products but don't believe locking down a regional area or territory is needed for the area(s) you plan on selling and/ or reselling our products, OR, simply don't want to get tied down to any volume oblations, no problem - just keep purchasing wholesale - it is a perfect for you! To start buying wholesale today there is no paperwork or approval required. To start buying wholesale today, click here

DISTRIBUTION - Becoming a Bakell® authorized distribution partner means we will not sell wholesale to any customers in your market and/ or region, your region would be considered "Locked-Down." A locked-down distribution territory means we will not sell to any reseller or retailer within a 90-mile radius of your establishment or defined region, it's all yours! This is done to protect your sales, your margins and to protect your physical retail footprint in your area. We want customers buying from you and then coming back for more! To become a Bakell® Brand distributor and own a region and/ or territory, it is required that the distributor/ reseller maintains the following; 1) Spends a minimum of $12,000 per/ quarter 2) maintains positive payment history against the account 3) no expansive/ escalated customer service issues 4) If quarterly spend increases to $24,000 per/ quarter, the lock-down mileage distance increases to a 180 mile radius 5) If spend per quarter exceeds $24,000 Bakell will further improve lock-down radius based on a case-by cases basis.
