All of our edible food-grade dusts & glitters contain various mica powder pigments and go through a specific manufacturing process allowing the mineral to be edible & consumable. Ingredients found in our edible glitter & dust brands include dextrose, rice starch and color additives specifically approved for food use, including mica-based pearlescent pigments and FD&C colors such as FD&C Blue No. 1. The FDA has approved all of the ingredients being used in our edible glitters & edible dusts based on the FDA approved ingredients & usage levels. Color Changing Glitter works with many clear liquids/liquors. For Pink and Purple CC products, please note – Bakell® cannot guarantee that this “color changing” product will work for ALL clear/non-clear beverage types manufactured in the market as there are millions of clear beverage types manufactured in the world/ global market each of which use thousands of different recipe configurations that impact how the color changing product will work, including PH balances, acidic levels, citric acid levels, etc. Each ingredient/ recipe configuration will impact how our COLOR CHANGING product will work in said beverage. So please test your specific beverage type using our color changing product before committing to buying large volumes of our product **

The melting point of our edible Dusts & Glitters is approx. 1300°C according to one of our third party labs. However, the melting point for the colored pigments will vary from one colorant to the next, this melting point approximation is meant only for our MICA PEARLESCENT additive.

Microwave Safety of Color Changing Brew Glitter: Our extensive testing confirms that Color Changing Brew Glitter is safe for microwave use. When subjected to microwave intervals ranging from 30 seconds to 3 minutes, the glitter showed no alteration, maintaining its unique color-changing properties on a paper plate. This information, based on the latest knowledge and available data at the time of product distribution, is offered in good faith. This is one of those instances where looks can be deceiving. Each and every jar of our dust and/or glitter is filled by weight as opposed to volume. Whereas our product is manufactured using various amounts of edible pigments, the lighter colors such as white and clear are packed tighter than some of the deeper colors such as Gold and Silver so while it may appear to the human eye that certain jars contain less product, in reality, the weight is exactly the same in every jar. Simply put. some powders are more fluffy than others but rest assured, you're still getting the same amount of product.

YES! Our edible products are Kosher Certified by the VAAD of Northern California, Sunrise Kosher (www.sunrisekosher.org). Kosher Certification is the stamp of kosher approval by a rabbinic Agency verifying they have checked the products ingredients, production facility and actual production to ensure all ingredients, derivatives, tools and machinery have no trace of non kosher substances.
