This is a common question. So when using luster dust edible paint, it settles really quickly it separates from the liquid and settles to the bottom, basically making a "mud" at the bottom of whatever container it is sitting in. Meaning it is clumping in the bottom of you "bowl" gun attachment to your airbrush gun. How I prevent this from happening is I keep the liquid essentially "moving" I keep the gun moving in my hand even while I am not spraying, and then as SOON as I am done spraying with it I rinse my gun out. So this helps with not allowing the luster dust to settle at the bottom.

You do not want to use glitters, whether it is our Tinker Dust edible glitter, Dazzler Dust or any another companies glitter as the particle size is to large for the nozzle of an airbrush gun and will clog the tip, therefore clogging the Airbrush Gun. When you see Cake Decorators, Cookie Decorators, Bakers, etc using an airbrush gun the paint product they are using to spray is either Petal Dust or Luster Dust - both types of edible dusts/ powders are perfect for an airbrush gun!
